Installing PartyCAD on an Offline Machine

If you need to install or reinstall PartyCAD onto a machine not connected to the Internet, you should first download the setup file to a USB drive on a connected machine and then move this to the offline machine to complete the installation.


  1. Insert a USB drive into a machine connected to the Internet.
  2. Click this link: Download PartyCAD 12
  3. Save the downloaded file, PCAD12-Setup.exe, to the USB drive.
  4. Move the USB drive to the offline machine. You are now ready to install.
  5. Make sure you are in an Administrative account. If you are not sure, go ahead anyway. The installer will tell you if there is a problem.

  1. Find the PCAD12-Setup.exe file on the USB drive and run it. If you have problems, try right-clicking the filename and clicking Run as administrator.
  2. After the install completes, double-click the PartyCAD 12 icon on your desktop. You should still be logged in as an Administrator when you do this the first time. You will need to register your copy of the program and supply a valid serial number. Then click Register. Actual registration will be deferred until your machine is next connected to the Internet.
  3. Updates, online help, and videos will not be available until the machine is connected to the Internet.
  4. Once the initial run is complete, you are free to switch out of the Administrator account, if you like. Then just double-click the PartyCAD 12 icon to start the program.
