Chris Irish of Event Extravagant Group sent me this nice venue image he took with
a drone. Compare this with the picture below which came from Google Earth, and you
will see that the drone image is sharper and more up-to-date. Notice the light poles,
though. Ideally you should shoot straight down, which would make the light poles
appear much shorter or as dots. Images such as these can be used to create a ‘Picture
as Plan’ style project.
