The names of the office pieces will become familiar with use. Usually, you can just look at the 3D view of a piece and decide if it is what you need. Where this does not suffice you can load the piece into the Design Editor and refer to its listed dimensions. Here are a few clues to help you figure out why the piece names are what they are:
1 digit numbers usually refer to length in feet. HUTCHO5 indicates a hutch with an open end that is 5' wide.
2 digit numbers usually refer to length or height in inches. PANCOR30 is a panel corner that is 30" high
3 digit numbers usually refer to width in feet and depth in inches. RR424R3 is a receptionist return 4 feet long, 24 inches deep with drawers on the Right side - 3 drawers.
4 digit numbers usually refer to height and width in inches. PAN4218 is a panel 42" high and 18" wide.
R or L at/near the end of a name indicate the symmetry of the piece. SDF530L is a Single pedestal Desk with a Full set of drawers that is 5' wide and 30 inches deep and has Left symmetry. SDF530R has right symmetry

R=Regular Paper L=Legal Paper
S=Single Pedestal D=Double Pedestal
D=Doors Present O=Open
