The awnings in PartyCAD date from the early 1990s when the package was more used for the design of building exteriors than it is today.

Some awnings can just be loaded and resized to give a nice result. Others must be pieced together using many parts, each of which is sized and positioned appropriately. For instance, you might use a left curved end, a middle of appropriate size and then a right curved end. After that, ribs might be positioned to break the middle into sections as needed. Finally all these pieces would be made into a group, ready for use.
